My precious Shelby,
You never leave my heart! Every evening in our devotional all of our family' names are 'lifted to Him' in prayer. We ask a special measure of prayer for you. We ask him to help you "feel" His presence" everyday of your life, and especially as your surgery is approaching. We ask everyone we know to pray for you. The power of prayer is amazing, Shelby!
I want you to memorize and hold in your precious heart these words of God, your Father, who make you and love you. It's found in the book of Psalms 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God."
When you are about to go in for your surgery I pray these words of HIS will fill and warm your heart. It's wonderful and calming to "hear" His words when you need them most. Please say these words of His over and over, out loud and silently; until you really 'feel' His words.
"Be still and know that I am God"
I will always love you, MiMi

WOW, your own blog. I always knew you were special. Can't wait to see you Friday at Laci's bridal luncheon. This wedding will be a fun time and a great celebration, glad I get to share it with you. We are all looking forward to spending time with you and living it up before your surgery. You are in the prayers of so many people - I hope you feel it. Right now I hope I publish this notice correctly. More later.

Shelby,
My name is Robert and I'm a friend of your parents. I went to A&M with your Mom and got to know your Dad when I was at Westbury a long time ago. Did you know your parents are really old?

I am honored to pray for you and lift you up before our Father. I pray that you will experience God's peace as you prepare for your surgery, during the surgery itself and during your recovery period. Be assured that you'll be surrounded by people who love you and are praying for you.

I'm going to try to get the word out to the "Aggie network" about you and get a whole bunch of Aggies praying for you. After all, Aggies have a direct line to God and we'll be using it!
Blessings,

Robert

Shelby,

I have known and loved your parents for many years. We have one of those special relationships that allows us to feel a certain connection even thought we rarely see each other.

My family will keep you in our prayers, lifting you up to our heavenly father. Even though the near future will be difficult for you, you have the blessing of love. In reading the postings, I see much love from your family, extended family and friends. Even greater than that love is your heavenly father's love. He will provide comfort and peace, even in the most difficult of times.

Know that you are loved!

Dear, Sweet Shelby,
We want you to know that all the "Honey Grove Bunch" are praying for you, as well as for your family. We will have special prayers for you tomorrow at church.
We are so sorry that you must go through this, but we thank God that He is on your side. He will give you strength and we know that He will hold you in His hands during your surgery and your recovery.
We love you, Shelby, and your whole family. Our thoughts, and more importantly, our prayers, are with you!
Please, Dad and Mom, have someone in the family keep us informed of the progress. I will keep everyone posted here, and will put it in our church bulletins.

For Shelby:

Today. . .

I got in the shower today as I usually do;
But instead as I showered I prayed over you.

I started to eat breakfast, as I hurriedly do;
But instead I choose not to eat, and simply pray over you.

As I drove off to work, as I usually do:
My mind kept repeating a tender prayer just for you.

As I fed a sick child, which I get paid to do;
I prayed over the sick child whom I know to be, you.

I prayed for the people who tend to your care;
I prayed for your parents, and the burden they bear.

I prayed for answers the doctors must discern;
I prayed for your pain, as it comes while you turn.

And so if things change or some blessing comes through;
It’s because I’m NOT the only one,
Who is praying for you! !

Dear Newhouse Family,
Know that we may not all be present in body,
But we are most certainingly present by His spirit.

Praying without ceasing,
Diane, Gary and Crew
