T Minus 10 Hours and Counting

It's a little after 10 pm. and Shelby has a stuffy nose. We won't know for sure if it's a go until we get to the hospital and they decide if she can do this without adding any complications. If we were to reschedule this surgery it would be something like March before they could fit her in. I spoke with a nurse in the ER today and she said the hospital was overflowing with really sick kids. Please do not think about bringing any children up there. I would not want to expose them to all the really bad stuff up there. Pray for peace and good rest tonight and we are thankful for our loving God who will be in control tomorrow.

Much love to all,

Kim

Mike, Kim & Shelby,

I know that right now you have made it to TCH and are doing all those things you do as they prepare to take Shelby in. I know that God has surrounded you with friends and family that will physically support you as you wait today. Beyond those that will be with you today, there are SO MANY people covering your entire family in prayer today and in the weeks to come. It is 7:00 a.m. and I am praying for you to have PEACE that truly passes all understanding and I am confident that God will provide.

We love you guys!

Shelby,
Your mom and I go WAY back to when we were your age. I cannot imagine the fear you must be wrestling with. Your mom has great faith. You will do EXACTLY as well as God intends. We are thinking of you all day.

Hey Shelby!
You are in many peoples prayers right now as you are in surgery. I know that God has you in his mighty and capable hands and that he will look after you and protect you as the doctors work on your back. Psalms says " 13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb." God has known you from the very begining and he knows your every need. Keep trusting in Him and keep smiling. We all look forward to seeing your smiling face soon!

Hi Shelby,
I know you'll be reading or hearing this after your surgery, but I wanted to take some time from work to let you know we've been praying for you here at the office this morning and can't wait to hear how the surgery went and how you're doing.

I'm so proud of you for your courage going into this situation and your beautiful attitude everyday. I've never seen you without a smile on your face and that makes me smile too!

I'm blown away by the responses on this blog and trust that you know how much you're loved by God, family, friends, and the church. You're such an inspiration and your life brings glory to God. I'm thankful that you're my sister in Christ.

We love you very much and pray for peace and comfort for you and for your family. Be strong!

In Him,
Justin (and Ali) Lime

I know you all are relieved that this much is behind you and now as Shelby continues to heal and recover we will continue to pray and wish you all the best.
