President's Day

Today is Monday and Shelby's Peditrician wants to back up to only liquids for another 24 hours. It seems like that is all we have been able to do anyway. She had 2 bites of toast and several sips of Gatorade at 11:45 am (when she woke up) and could not keep that down. She also threw up when I sat her up about 20 minutes ago. (at 1:45 pm-A Rotovirus can last 7 to 10 days) She is such a trooper! I will update tomorrow. I also asked if we could go to a hospital closer to home if all is required is IV fluids. They will let me know.

See ya,

In Him,

Kim

Wow! You girls have been through sooo much! That Shelby is a trooper for sure. Tell her to hang in there and keep her faith, there has to be light at the end of all this..I know this has to take a toll on all of you and it is taking all of you get to get through this. I know you all trust in the Lord and have such faith and will get all this behind you soon. I know it seems to be one thing after another and is so much to deal with and handle but think of how things can be after all this. They always remind me that the Lord never gives you more than you can handle, but sometimes we often question that as to just how much does he think we can handle,...I often wonder if he doesn't think we can handle more than we think we can at times but in the end he always seems to be right.
I pray for healing, strength, sleep and pain free and also for the seizure meds to be right and for Shelby to get over that stomach stuff, she doesn't need that with everything else she has going on. God will get all of you through this.
Your all in my thoughts and prayers everyday!
Hugs to you all,
Jeri-Lynne Lansford

P/S/ Kim! Just fyi to let you know we see Dr. Stelly-Sietz on March 28th and then if she feels that we need to see Dr. Dauser we will see him that day as well. We plan on staying in Houston the night of the 27th but then after all the appointments are done on the 28th we will drive back. If you don't mind I will give you a call to say hello and check on Shelby. Hopefully by that time things will be much better for all of you....

Hey Shelby,
Today is the first time in a long time that my computer has let me get on to yall's website for some weird high tech reason. I'm so sorry to hear that you are so sick. Wow! What a big bummer. We've had a big bummer at our house lately too. Jason bent over and hurt his back a week ago Monday. I had to get everything for him, etc. because he was flat on his back on the den floor all week. He said it hurt worse than when he had kidney stones (which is really bad.) He's on lots of pills now, and they're finally working. Today he felt like going back to work. So, this isn't as a big a bummer as yours but it's still a bummer! We're hoping you get over this virus soon so we can come out to visit you. We sure miss seeing you on Sundays! We're still praying for you!
Love,
Lisa Sizemore

Shelby,
I just heard from Alice Boos that you are keeping down some food.....Yeah!
We have been praying that your tummy would feel better fast! Alice said you look so pretty despite how hard these past few weeks have been for you. Glad you got your new bed and I hope that this will help your recovery as well. It was good to see your Mom at church on Sunday. We are all looking forward to you being able to come back. Are you counting down the days?
Love, Leslie Buffington

Shelby,
Keep up the good work. I thought you might like this verse: It goes like this, I can do all things through Christ which strenghthens me.It's in the Bible I just can't remember where.

Margaret

Hi, Newhouses, You guys have been on our minds . Sorry we haven't been better about letting you know. I'm glad to hear that Shelby is back to Church and school. I pray that you never have to go though that or any thing close to that again. Thought I'd let you know that Kaleb is doing good. He is on a ship close to Japan and is suppose to go to Thailand next. He will hopefully be back in the states in June and then home sometime in July. Have not cared for the month at a time that we don't here from him. It makes life very hard. Jen will be home this weekend for Easter can't wait to see her. Mark and Pam are going to Mexico this weekend for their one year anniversary. We went to mediation this week for Madison and we are praying that her parents will terminate their own rights soon. If they do we pray to get to adopt her. She is an angel just as the rest of them. Shawn is almost finished with kindergarten and ready to be in high school. Thomas will start kind. next year. I think he is ready I need to go Maddie keeps on unplugging the internet I get the hint. We Love you all dearly and keep you in our prays.Carol
